DEERFIELD, Ill. -- Everyone has an opinion as to where the heralded 2010 free agent class will end up this summer, but Bulls head coach Vinny Del Negro has a message for anyone who thinks they know for sure where any single player is headed.
"No one knows," he said after the Bulls shootaround Friday morning. "Nobody has any idea right now. Obviously, that will be a big topic of conversation. It will continue to be a big topic of conversation as the season comes to a close and the summertime turns here. I'm focused on what we can do right now. We have our hands full before a lot of that stuff takes place."
The Bulls are expected to be far enough under the salary cap to be able to make a strong push for a top tier free agent. For all the hoopla surrounding where players like LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh will end up though, Del Negro isn't sure what to make of the notion that some players may have already decided where they are going to play next season. "I don't know," he said. "Maybe some of them do. Maybe some don't. Maybe none of them do. I don't know. Everyone's guessing on all this stuff. It's going to play out the way it plays out. But, we'll be organized and prepared and ready to make some adjustments."
