By now, millions of NBA fans have seen Derrick Rose's adidas commercial in which the Chicago Bulls star dribbles around a bullfighting ring and dunks on matadors. Rose said on Thursday that he enjoyed filming the spot, even if the conditions were a little different.
"It was cool. It was fun. It was very hot out there y'all," he said. "It was like three days I was out there and like 110 degrees out there. I had a guy following me around with an umbrella. It was very hot.
"The guy (holding the umbrella was named) Nacho. Nacho did a great job with making sure I had shade."
Rose traveled the world this summer making several promotional appearances for adidas, but reiterated that he was never close to playing overseas.
"I wasn't close at all," he said. "If you know me, I always think positive about everything. For some strange reason, I always knew that the season was going to start, but I didn't know when."
