CINCINNATI -- Ticket sales were brisk for the Cincinnati Bengals' first three home games of the season and each were sold out. But with the fourth still about a week away, they have slowed.

Bengals ticket sales manager Andrew Brown said in a statement Friday that the team was still about 3,000 tickets short of a sellout for the Oct. 27 game against the Jets. Kickoff is slated for 4 p.m. It will be the first 4 p.m. game of the year for the Bengals who will have played six 1 p.m. games and one 8:30 p.m. game after this weekend.

"Sales have been steady, and we're hopeful of reaching a sellout, but we'll need a continued good pace," Brown said.

The Bengals host the Jets after traveling to Detroit on Sunday to face the Lions.
