CINCINNATI -- Andy Dalton has played inside Qualcomm Stadium four times in his football-playing career. Four times, he has left Qualcomm Stadium victorious.
When the Cincinnati Bengals quarterback enters San Diego's biggest football facility for a fifth time this weekend, he will be looking to expand upon the fond memories he has already established there.
"Yeah, there's some good games," Dalton said, reminiscing during his weekly news conference Wednesday.
The Bengals visit the Chargers at 4:35 p.m. ET Sunday afternoon.
Including last season's 20-13 win against the Chargers, Dalton engineered two regular-season wins at Qualcomm Stadium while in college at TCU. In road games against San Diego State, which also uses the stadium, and in a bowl game there against a higher-ranked Boise State team, Dalton also walked away with wins.
"It's been a fun stadium for me to play in," Dalton said.
As he looks to regain the form that made him October's AFC Offensive Player of the Month, Dalton heads to San Diego looking to keep the good times there rolling. In the chart below, we highlight just how good the third-year quarterback has been at Qualcomm Stadium. The numbers rival some of the best at any other point throughout his career:
