The former Mississippi running back joins 10 other undrafted rookies who were added to Cincinnati's roster Monday. He's one of four running backs who reached an agreement with the team since the end of Saturday's NFL draft. The other backfield additions were running back James Wilder Jr. (Florida State), fullback/tight end/H-back Ryan Hewitt (Stanford) and defensive tackle-turned-fullback Nikita Whitlock.
Scott rushed 67 times for 493 yards and two touchdowns in 2013. He also had a punt return for touchdown. If he makes the team, he could be used on special teams.
Along with the other three undrafted players, the Bengals also added former LSU running back Jeremy Hill during the draft. He was the only back the Bengals took. He was selected in the second round.
With Scott's addition, the Bengals now have 86 players under contract. They are still four players shy of the 90-man offseason limit.
