Houston, Jacksonville, Cleveland and Detroit remain the only four teams never to play in the NFL’s biggest game.
None made the playoffs this season. All will select in the top 10 in May’s draft, with three in the top four.
Browns fans have had one playoff game to enjoy since 1999, and two winning seasons. Their coaching search has been methodical to some, slow to others. They are a team trying to find any kind of success after six 11-loss seasons in a row.
It’s easy to paint a bleak picture, but perhaps things aren’t that bleak. Perhaps there’s optimism out there. Perhaps there’s pessimism.
