Contract numbers for Browns QBs

By Pat McManamon

If money matters, here are some breakdowns on the contracts of Jason Campbell, who will start Sunday for the Browns, and Brandon Weeden, who lost his starting job.

Weeden's base pay this season is $757,000.

Campbell's is $1.5 million.

Weeden was paid a signing bonus of $4.318 million when he was drafted in the first round in 2012.

Campbell did not receive a signing bonus when he signed as a free agent in the offseason.

Weeden's guaranted money in his four-year deal is $7.511 million.

Campbell's guaranted money is $500,000.

Campbell's deal is two years for $4 million, including a roster bonus due in March.

Weeden's deal is for four years and $8.08 million.

And Brian Hoyer?

He signed for two years and $1.965 million.

Weeden ranks 12th on the team with a salary cap charge of $1.837 million, Campbell is 13th at $1.5 million and Hoyer is 16th at $716,000.

The Browns in total have $4.05 million in salary-cap space committed to quarterbacks, a mere 4.14 percent of their total salary cap.
