A point to ponder
By Pat McManamon
It’s no secret the Baltimore Ravens own the Cleveland Browns, having won every game since the Browns last beat Baltimore in November of 2007. In those games the Browns had four different coaches and five different quarterbacks. That has not stopped the Browns from stating they are confident about their chances.
Cornerback Joe Haden said that teams change and “the Ravens aren’t the Ravens of old.” Linebacker D'Qwell Jackson told a group of Cleveland media that “I like our odds.” How statements like these are classified might depend on point of view, and who wins. Are they locker room fodder that could inspire the Ravens? Or are they merely a team showing confidence in itself?
