Draft factoid: Bridgewater's accuracy
By Pat McManamon
Draft day looms ever closer. As it approaches, it seems appropriate to start your day with a tidbit or two on draftable guys -- with an eye toward those the Cleveland Browns might select. All information is courtesy of ESPN Stats & Information.
Louisville’s Teddy Bridgewater completed the impressive total of 71 percent of his throws. But he also had the highest, longest average pass distance (air yards per attempt) of all quarterbacks in conferences that received automatic bids to BCS bowls. His 9.5 yards topped Johnny Manziel’s total of 9.1. Both of them were well ahead of the third-ranked quarterback, Austyn Carta-Samuels at 6.7.
