Even Obama is aware of Ben Simmons' game

Everyone has heard of LSU freshman forward Ben Simmons by now. Even the president.

President Obama appeared at Baton Rouge's McKinley High School to drive home some themes from Tuesday's State of the Union address. And apparently no one can come to Louisiana's capitol city without being affected by the Simmons hype machine. The Australian native is putting up some crazy numbers that have helped him ascend to the top of some player-of-the-year watch lists.

And if Simmons -- as Obama alleges -- has more game than Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, the basketball world better duck for cover. Duncan famously tore up the competition in the NBA Celebrity All-Star game for three years, winning MVP honors in 2014.
