Much of the college hoops world has descended on North Augusta, S.C., this week, and for one reason: The Peach Jam, an annual AAU tournament featuring much of the talent you'll be seeing in high-profile college threads for years to come.
If you're like me, you're not in North Augusta, and have thus been stuck following the Jam via Twitter updates, daily recruiting recaps, and Dana O'Neil's frequent check-ins. Which has been cool. The Internet rocks, right? But there's been one thing missing: actually watching the tournament.
Tonight, that too will be remedied. The Peach Jam championship game, which tipped at 3 p.m. EST this afternoon, will be replayed on tape delay on ESPNU tonight at 7 p.m. EST. The game pit Team Takeover vs. the St. Louis Eagles, the latter of which features Bradley Beal, the No. 2 shooting guard in the class of 2011.
The game concluded just before this writing, and for the sake of those who want to watch the game without spoilers, I won't give away the ending. (If you want spoilers, here's one: Jack dies, and everybody goes to heaven. The end!) If you do want the outcome, it isn't too hard to find. Anyway, so concludes this programming note. Enjoy.
