Taylor King is going to Hollywood.

The former McDonald's All-American forward had planned on remaining at Villanova for school after leaving the team in June, but has decided he will transfer to USC to play for his third program.

The Los Angeles Times reports that King will have one year of eligibility left -- during the 2011-12 season -- and that while sitting out this season as a walk-on, he plans on attending USC's renowned film school.
"I'm a communications major and I hope to do something in the film industry and USC has the No. 1 film school in America. It's not like it was a no-brainer, but it was a great spot for me to go."

It's fitting, in a way, because it was notable USC graduate and Trojans fan Will Ferrell who starred "Old School" -- a movie about reclaiming college glory.

King as an eighth grader committed to UCLA (an "Old School" filming location) and as part of a Duke recruiting class that included Kyle Singler and Nolan Smith entered his freshman year with high expectations.

While the former child star has gone through some drama since then, and it seems as if he's been around the scene forever, he's going to try making a comeback.

Will King's story have a happy ending? He'll be giving it a try at a school where the rallying cry is "Fight On."
