Kyle Singler and Duke are doing just fine

Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski was overseas two weeks ago when Kyle Singler underwent arthroscopic knee surgery, but Coach K came back to find that the most outstanding player of the Final Four is apparently ready to go.

From the Durham Herald-Sun:

Krzyzewski said the 6-foot-8 Singler is recovering well and should be ready to get back on the court within two weeks.

"He's doing great," Krzyzewski said. "If this would have been the season, he'd play today. There's no reason to do that. Just give him more time. Probably around Oct. 1, he'll be back. He could use the break. He's had an intense summer of play and he'll have an intense season. So that doesn't hurt."

With Singler set to lace 'em up, Duke fans can breathe a collective sigh of relief and also be comforted that associate head coach Steve Wojciechowski ran things smoothly while Coach K was away.
