BYU and San Diego State got their leading scorers back in action on Wednesday night.
Cougars guard Jimmer Fredette came off the bench and had eight points and three assists in a win against Air Force after a bout with mononucleosis. Fredette hasn't scored in double-digits in 2010 since a 49-point outburst against Arizona, having also suffered from strep throat. But BYU is glad to have him back and has now won 12 straight.
Aztecs forward Billy White, who suffered a high ankle sprain last week, also came off the bench with five points in 16 minutes, but a rising UNLV team took care of business on its home floor and won 76-66.
