Kansas game features flash mob dance

The Border War featured not only a big win by Kansas against rival Missouri, but also students in the stands participating in a flash mob dance to the tune of "Check It Out" by will.i.am and Nicki Minaj.

The performance was done to promote the school's Jayhawk Buddy System to encourage students to look out for one another, especially when drinking.

The students only got two one-hour rehearsals before Monday's game, but performed the choreographed dance with distinction given the rest of the crowd's reaction. There's a mid-dance wardrobe change, and mascots were used as well.

Given the score by the end of the game, if coach Bill Self had been boogieing to the dance, no one would have minded. The Jayhawks on the court weren't the only ones in sync Monday night.
