BYU guard Jimmer Fredette, the Mountain West Conference's leading scorer at 21.2 points per game, has proven he can play.
But is he ready to leave school early? The Salt Lake Tribune asked him about the possibility of forgoing his final season in Provo to enter the NBA draft.
"After the season, I will have a good talk with the coaches and with my family, obviously, and everybody that is close to me, and make a decision of what to do. ... So it could be an option, but obviously right now I am not thinking about it too much," he said.
Fredette added it is "common sense that you don't worry about it until after the season is over, and that's exactly the approach I am going to take."
