Being at a new school is never easy. You're trying to make friends and win people over, but you don't want to be obvious about it, because people will see right through you. Transferring is touch. The immediate impulse is shyness.
Baylor junior college transfer Pierre Jackson has no such issues. One glimpse at the video of his performance at Baylor's Moonlight Madness event this weekend -- in which Jackson showcases athleticism, dunking ability, dance moves and charisma in equal measure -- is more than enough evidence for that conclusion:
That Jackson kid looks like he can play, if only Baylor coach Scott Drew can get him to come out of his shell. Right.
