The Creighton Bluejays have quietly put together a solid résumé. The Bluejays, who entered the AP Top 25 this week, have the 14th-best BPI.

Creighton’s only two losses this season have come by seven points or fewer on a neutral court against No. 27 San Diego State and No. 52 George Washington.

The Bluejays have six wins against top-100 teams, including three against the top 50.

Creighton has been especially hot over its last six games, with a BPI game score of 93 or better in five of those games. Since Dec. 22, Creighton has the second-best BPI of any team.

The Bluejays have been very good on the road this season. They’re 4-0 on the road with three of those wins by double digits. They have the No. 7 BPI in road games.

UMass falling from the elite
The Massachusetts Minutemen have come back to reality after starting the season performing like an elite team.

The Minutemen had the No. 2 BPI after their first 10 games, with six of those wins coming against teams in the BPI top 100. They had a BPI game score higher than 85 in nine of those 10 games.

But UMass, now No. 15 in BPI, has a game score less than 85 in each of its last five games. That includes a loss to Florida State and four wins by single digits.

UMass has nine wins against BPI top-100 teams this season, tied with Wisconsin and Ohio State for the most of any team.

Is Oregon legit?
Who are the real Oregon Ducks? It’s difficult to tell whether or not this team is legit the way their season has gone.

Oregon has taken care of business against weak non-conference opponents, but the Ducks have struggled against strong conference foes.

The Ducks have the No. 5 BPI in non-conference games but are 104th in conference play. They have the No. 8 BPI against teams ranked outside the top 50 but have the 77th-best BPI against top-50 opponents.

Their struggles include three straight losses in Pac-12 play against Colorado, California and Stanford.

Oregon, No. 19 overall in BPI, doesn’t have a win against the top 45, with its best victory coming against No. 46 Illinois.

UCLA looking for top-50 wins
The UCLA Bruins, 18th in BPI, have a résumé comparable to Oregon's.

The Bruins lacked a top-50 win before they defeated Arizona State on Sunday. Previously, their best win was against No. 70 Alabama.

UCLA has the 10th-best BPI against teams outside the top 50 but is just 64th against top-50 opponents.

The Bruins could define their season over the next five games. They will face four opponents currently in the BPI top 50 (Colorado, Stanford, California, Oregon) and another team ranked just outside the top 50 (Utah).
