After some knock-down, drag-out games in the Pac-10 tonight, four teams -- Arizona, Arizona State, Cal and UCLA are tied for first place in the conference.

Even Oregon, which had the night off preparing for the Civil War game against Oregon State, held a practice that got heated.

An altercation between reserve Garrett Sim and walk-on John Elorriaga on the practice court left Sim needing first aid. According to The Oregonian:

Punches appeared to be thrown by both players and the altercation resulted in Sim having a bloody lip and blood streaming from above his left eye.

After trying to play with the injuries, Sim briefly left practice to receive stitches. When he returned, Sim and Elorriaga participated in the rest of the workout as if nothing happened. Sim was in good spirits after practice and said he was fine.
