UCLA's Moser to transfer

By Diamond Leung

Freshman Mike Moser will transfer from UCLA, the school announced today.

The 6-foot-8 forward was rated the nation's No. 55 player in the country by ESPNU coming out of high school and signed with UCLA after decommitting from Arizona when Lute Olson left.

Moser ended up averaging only 4.7 minutes in the 15 games he played and became the second UCLA player to depart this offseason, with center J'mison Morgan being dismissed last week.

"He has a great attitude, and I'm supportive of him finding a chance to play more minutes than we envision he will have here," coach Ben Howland said of Moser in a statement.
