Portland promotes long-distance shooting

Jared Stohl is Portland's most dangerous player.

The senior leads the team in scoring averaging 15 points per game and is shooting .525 from 3-point range, a accuracy rate that exceeds his 2-point field goal percentage.

He led the nation in 3-point percentage (.478) last season, and now he's being honored for it with this billboard.

The billboard stretches across two sides of a building, asking, "Guess who led the nation in 3's last year?"

Kentucky coach John Calipari has already called Stohl the best 3-point shooter in the country.

For those locally who haven't already heard about the Pilots possessing this weapon, it's now in plain sight.
