Winning was nice, but what Kevin Sumlin has done in his time away from the field is perhaps most impressive. He leads a Texas A&M program on pace for a top-5 finish in recruiting, which says plenty about the future, and the state of Texas. Elsewhere, Notre Dame is rising, Alabama and Florida State are in hold-steady mode, and two programs that have fallen off are Oklahoma and Tennessee. ESPN Insider Travis Haney has a stock report.
