Corban Collins, who became LSU's fifth commitment for Johnny Jones' first basketball signing class Thursday, initially planned to go back to Massanutten Military Academy in Woodstock, Va. for a second school year in the fall.
When he arrived for his first year at Massanutten last August, "he was a little young, and he had an injury his sophomore year and didn't really get back to full speed (as a junior)," Massanutten coach Chad Myers said. "So he was kind of thinking of staying for his senior year and a post-graduate year."
But his senior season went so well, it turned out he didn't need the extra year.
