2014 ATH Williams sees more interest

By Dave Hooker

Interest is growing in Johnny Williams.

Michigan is the most recent school to inquire about the athlete from Jackson (Tenn.) Christian. Arkansas State, Cincinnati, Missouri and Jacksonville State have also begun recruiting the 5-foot-10, 179-pound prospect.

Ole Miss seems to have the strongest connection. Williams has been to Oxford twice and regularly talks to his primary recruiter, Maurice Harris, according to Williams' father, Clay Williams. Harris is the Rebels' tight ends coach and recruiting coordinator for offense.
