Griffin missed just one game after suffering a knee injury against Baltimore. Last week, Griffin threw for 198 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in a victory over Philadelphia. Griffin, who leads NFL quarterbacks with 752 rushing yards, rushed for just four yards against the Eagles.
"He didn't run as much but he looks like the same guy to me," Garrett said Wednesday. "Made a lot of plays in the passing game, moved around, it will be a really good challenge for us."
Griffin has been successful this season thanks to a running game that's averaging 162.3 yards per game, tops in the NFL. The Redskins also lead the league in first down plays, averaging 6.47 yards per play.
"What they've done really well all year long is they've run the ball and then they made a lot of plays in play action off their running game," Garrett said. "No. 1 rush team in the National Football League and it starts there and they've been very effective doing it and the runner (Alfred Morris) has been very good for them. The QB has been good in the running game as well and they get other people involved so it starts with that and then a lot of their big plays come off hard play action passes."
