IRVING, Texas -- Walt Anderson will be the referee for Sunday’s game between the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins at AT&T Stadium.

Who was the referee when these teams met in the winner-take-all Week 17 matchup last December? Anderson.

His crew threw only five flags in the game and there were only three accepted penalties. The Cowboys' lone accepted penalty was a roughing-the-passer call on Jason Hatcher on the Redskins’ final touchdown drive that made it 28-18.

Anderson is coming off a bye week. He last worked the Week 4 matchup between the New York Jets and Tennessee Titans. The visiting Jets were penalized 10 times for 66 yards and the Titans had four penalties for 30 yards.
