Morris Claiborne misses practice

IRVING, Texas -- Cowboys cornerback Morris Claiborne missed Thursday's practice because of an illness.

Claiborne suffered a separated shoulder in the season opener against the New York Giants but has played through the injury.

Wide receiver Miles Austin (hamstring) was given a day off to rest his legs. He wore a baseball cap while attending the session with his teammates. Defensive tackle Nick Hayden (back) also missed the practice session but was riding the stationary bike.

Defensive end DeMarcus Ware (thigh) did rehab work during the early portions of practice open to the media.

Running backs Lance Dunbar (hamstring) and DeMarco Murray (knee) along with guard Ronald Leary (knee), wide receiver Dez Bryant (wrist and hamstring) and defensive end Jason Hatcher (neck) participated.

Linebacker DeVonte Holloman (neck) didn't practice.
