DETROIT -- Dallas Cowboys starting right guard Brian Waters left Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions in the second quarter with a left leg injury. He later returned but injured his left triceps and his return for the Lions game is questionable.

Waters was blocking Ndamukong Suh when he went down and clutched his left knee. Waters slowly walked off the field as several of his teammates patted him on the back.

Mackenzy Bernadeau replaced Waters with 6:45 to play in the first half.

Waters was signed prior to the start of the season to improve the interior of the offensive line that struggled last season. Waters rotated with Bernadeau in the starting lineup in Weeks 2 and 3 before taking over the full-time starters role at San Diego on Sept. 29.

Update: Cornerback Morris Claiborne suffered a hamstring injury late in the first half and hasn't played in the third quarter. Claiborne's return is questionable.
