Different FB, similar result: QB injured
By Tim MacMahon
Undrafted rookie fullback Chris Gronkowski's blown assignment resulted in a blitzer coming free and cracking Tony Romo's collarbone.
It's easy to second-guess the decision to keep Gronkowski and cut fourth-year fullback Deon Anderson.
It's also silly.
This is the second time in three seasons that Romo suffered a broken bone due to poor pass protection. He missed three games in 2008 when a Cardinals linebacker came free, sacking Romo and breaking the pinkie on his right hand.
Guess who missed that block? Deon Anderson.
