Former NBA No. 1 draft pick Andrea Bargnani has signed to play overseas for Saski Baskonia in Spain. The announcement of the signing was made Tuesday via the team's official Twitter account.
Bargnani had been without a team since securing a buyout from the Brooklyn Nets in late February.
Bargnani struggled in his only season with the Nets, averaging 6.6 points on 45.5 percent shooting in 46 games.
The Italian international has played 10 years in the NBA since being drafted No. 1 by the Toronto Raptors in 2006 while failing to live up to expectations.
