Nalbone was a fifth-round pick by Miami in 2009, but played in only two games. He has spent time with six different teams, joining the Seahawks’ practice squad last season. He joins Jason Witten, John Phillips, James Hanna and undrafted Andrew Szczerba as the tight ends on the Cowboys’ 90-man roster.
Bryan, a two-time All-ACC pick at North Carolina State, did not get many snaps during the organized team activities and minicamp and was behind Szczerba, who did a nice job as a blocker and made some decent catches. Bryan received a $4,000 signing bonus following the draft.
Nalbone's addition also gives the Cowboys two Monmouth grads on the roster, joining Miles Austin.
