Colt McCoy didn't even play in the fourth quarter of Texas' 47-14 victory over Baylor. The Longhorns led 40-0 at the half.
McCoy was 23-of-34 for 181 yards and two touchdowns. McCoy's stats don't look quite as impressive because Texas ran the ball well and McCoy only played three quarters.
Another Heisman Trophy hopeful, Clemson's C.J. Spiller, played at the same time. Spiller had a touchdown three different ways -- rushing, receiving and passing. He had 97 yards rushing and 48 yards receiving in the game.
McCoy certainly didn't hurt himself today. It wasn't the gaudy numbers that you might expect, but he keeps winning games and avoiding mistakes.
