It's time again to predict this weekend's college games involving our local teams. Feel free to give your picks in the comment section:

Iowa State at Texas (11 a.m.): The Longhorns figured some things out in Lincoln and should be primed to make a run toward the finish line of the 2010 season. Iowa State isn't likely to provide much of a speed bump. Prediction: Texas 34, Iowa State 13

Nebraska at Oklahoma State (2:30 p.m., ABC): This should be a fantastic matchup and both teams will find ways to score. It's in Stillwater, which gives the Cowboys some hope. But I think the Cornhuskers bounce back from the Texas loss and find a way. Prediction: Nebraska: 31, Oklahoma State 28

Kansas State at Baylor (2:30 p.m): The Bears have a great opportunity to knock off a ranked opponent at home on Saturday. A win makes Baylor bowl eligible. I like the Bears at home this week. They know they are in position to make this a memorable season and they need this win before the Longhorns game next week. Prediction: Baylor 34, Kansas State 31

Texas Tech at Colorado (2:30 p.m.): It's not easy to go up to Boulder and win. Just ask Georgia. But the Buffaloes have yet to win a Big 12 game and the Red Raiders are 1-3 in the conference. This is tough, but I'll take the Red Raiders. Prediction: Texas Tech 31, Colorado 24

Houston at SMU (2:30 p.m.): I'm still surprised the Mustangs didn't beat Navy last week, but they'll move past it this week at home against Houston. The Ponies are 3-0 in Conference USA and first in the West Division. They'll move to 4-0 after Saturday. Prediction: SMU 35, Houston 21

Texas A&M at Kansas (6 p.m.): Things have really fallen apart in Kansas and A&M is desperate for a win. Those two things collide on Saturday. It's enough for the Aggies to take out some frustration. Prediction: Texas A&M 42, Kansas 14

Oklahoma at Missouri (7 p.m., ABC): Missouri is undefeated, but I'm not buying that they are the No. 11 team in the country. That doesn't mean this won't be close. It will. But Oklahoma is on a mission and, with a favorable schedule, will probably end up playing for a national title. The Sooners get it done. Prediction: Oklahoma 28, Missouri 24

Air Force at TCU (7 p.m.): The Horned Frogs are a little bruised this week and face a team that was in the top-25 until a loss last week. Air Force leads the nation in rushing. So we'll see what kind of schemes Gary Patterson's defense can cook up for the Falcons. I like TCU, but I don't think they cover the 18.5-point spread. Prediction: TCU 31, Air Force 17
