Initial momentum goes K-State's way

By Richard Durrett

ARLINGTON, Texas -- Arkansas received the opening kickoff and got the ball out near midfield. But the Kansas State defense did the job.

The Razorbacks decided to go for it on fourth-and-5 from the Kansas State 37-yard line and the Wildcats stopped them with good coverage in the secondary, allowing time for the defensive line to create just enough pressure to make quarterback Tyler Wilson dump it off short of the marker.

That got the Wildcat crowd fully into the game and changed the field position early. We'll see if Kansas State can build on the momentum.
