UPDATE: The remainder of OU's nonconference schedule was released Wednesday. The Sooners open the season Sept. 1 at UTEP and have their home opener a week later against Florida A&M. Their home date against Notre Dame is Oct. 27.

West Virginia's officially joined for 2012, and the league followed up that news by announcing its 2012 schedule.

TCU opens its Big 12 schedule at Kansas in Week 3. Its first Big 12 home game will be Week 6 against Iowa State.
West Virginia opens Big 12 play in Week 5 against Baylor in Morgantown.

Oklahoma and Texas will renew the Red River Rivalry on Oct. 13 at the State Fair of Texas.
