Baylor incoming freshman Perry Jones and junior Quincy Acy improved their NBA draft stock this summer, ESPN NBA draft Insider Chad Ford writes.

About Jones, the forward from Duncanville who Ford ranks No. 2 on his 2011 draft board: The way he ran the floor and fit in against more experienced teammates and opponents had scouts buzzing [at the adidas Nations camp in Chicago]. Jones has as much talent as anyone in the draft. The question remains one of assertiveness.

About Acy: But more and more scouts are starting to see the light when it comes to Acy. The crazy-long, athletic forward doesn't really have a position or even a discernable NBA skill set yet. But his energy, elite leaping ability, speed and nose for the ball all had scouts praising him at the adidas Nations camp [in Chicago]. If he can get some sort of discernable offensive game and add a little strength, he's got a legit shot at the first round.

How much of a national impression did Baylor make last season, when they marched to the Elite Eight in the NCAA Tournament before losing to eventual national champion Duke?

ESPN.com's Andy Katz believes the Bears -- bolstered by incoming freshman Perry Jones (Duncanville) and returning guard LaceDarius Dunn -- are not only the team to beat in the Big 12, but he has Baylor at No. 4 in his early Top 25 rankings.
