Ware did not practice this week, but he was medically cleared to play. He passed pregame tests regarding the strength and range of motion in the neck.
When asked whether he was playing, Ware gave a thumbs up sign while he was stretching with strength and conditioning coach Joe Juraszek on the Superdome turf.
Here are the Cowboys' inactives: QB Stephen McGee, S Patrick Watkins, CB Cletis Gordon, OG Montrae Holland, C Duke Preston, OT Marc Colombo, TE Martellus Bennett and OLB Curtis Johnson.
