Anderson will be ready for Redskins

IRVING, Texas -- Fullback Deon Anderson was a full participant in Thursday's practice and sees no reason why he wouldn't be ready to play Sunday night against the Washington Redskins.

"If I can do it in the eye of the storm, I'll be OK," Anderson said.

That was a reference to playing in Saturday's win over the New Orleans Saints the day after the illness hit. Anderson had to take fluids from an IV throughout the game, and Wade Phillips said he could tell Anderson was ill by watching him on film.

The Cowboys sent Anderson home from Valley Ranch on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday because he was contagious. He watched film and studied the game plan while resting, when he wasn't in the restroom dealing with the nasty effects of his illness.
