Cowboys strong safety Gerald Sensabaugh received a second-round tender on Thursday worth $1.809 million.
Sensabaugh's agent, Kevin Conner, said Saturday several teams contacted him regarding his client.
What does this mean?
If Sensabaugh signs an offer sheet with a team, the Cowboys can match it or let him walk while receiving a second round pick in the process.
As of now, the Cowboys don't have an experienced player they trust who can play strong safety. Dallas wants to lock up Sensabaugh long-term, which is a good thing. But if Conner gets a strong enough offer to present to Sensabaugh, the Cowboys have to make a choice.
