For the last three years, Cowboys linebacker Bradie James has partnered up with his alma mater, LSU, to help raise money for breast cancer at a gymnastic meet.

Friday night in Baton Rouge, it was announced at the third annual Etta James Memorial Meet that $38,366 was raised for Foundation 56, an organization started by James in 2007 that raises money to fight breast cancer in Baton Rouge and Dallas.

The meet is named after James' mother, who passed away from breast cancer in 2002 when he was a sophomore in college.

In three years, LSU and James have raised more than $120,000.

As for the meet, LSU, ranked 10th in the country, beat No. 6 Oregon State, 196.925-195.525, in front of 5,641 at Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
Calvin Watkins joined ESPNDallas.com in September 2009. He's covered the Cowboys since 2006 and also has covered colleges, boxing and high school sports.
