ORLANDO -- Back here at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando for the second day of the owners meetings. I've been told the NFL schedule, at least the primetime portion and the Thanksgiving Day opponents, will not be announced today.

However, I had a casual conversation with a Cowboys official Monday afternoon and he thought the Chicago Bears would be the Cowboys opponent for Thanksgiving Day.

Jerry Jones had a brief chat with NFC East blogger Matt Mosley on Monday night. Among the topics: Could the Cowboys be the Giants' first opponent in their new stadium? We hope to get with Jones today for a State of the Cowboys address.

The AFC coaches spoke today, starting at 7:15 a.m. ET. The NFC coaches will speak on Wednesday at 7:15 a.m. ET.
Calvin Watkins joined ESPNDallas.com in September 2009. He's covered the Cowboys since 2006 and also has covered colleges, boxing and high school sports.
