"If all goes well, not trying to talk noise, but if all goes well, we'll have the best wide receiving corps in the league," Williams said. "Dez is a big dude, he can play. He will help us win some ballgames."
Williams said the selection of Bryant also sends a message to the rest of the wide receivers on the roster, espeically a group trying to prove itself.
Miles Austin is trying to prove he can duplicate his Pro Bowl season of 2009 in 2010.
Williams is looking to develop good chemistry with quarterback Tony Romo.
Patrick Crayton, the No. 3 wideout, seeks his time in the sun as well.
"Yeah, with Dez it opens up competition, which brings out the best in the guys," Williams said.
