IRVING -- The Cowboys have traded their fourth round pick (119 overall) to the Miami Dolphins.

Update on the deal: Cowboys swapped picks, they get the 126th pick of the fourth round and they gain another sixth rounder, No. 179. Dallas also has the 196th pick of the sixth round and they currently hold the 234th pick overall in the seventh round.

For the last two days these teams have talked about a deal. In the first round, they talked, but nothing happened.

Defensive end Marcus Spears was brought into the discussion but the Dolphins didn't bite.

With the pick, the Dolphins picked up outside linebacker AJ Edds from Iowa.
