Offense struggles, but Cowboys lead at half

ARLINGTON, Texas -- The Cowboys offense is struggling right now after its first half with the Oakland Raiders. Dallas leads, 3-0, at the break.

The first-team offense failed to produce a touchdown for the second consecutive game. Overall in the preseason, the Cowboys are 0-4 trying to score touchdowns inside the 20.

Offensive coordinator Jason Garrett made a questionable decision in the first half. Faced with a fourth-and-short at the Raiders 13, Jon Kitna rolled to his right and wobbled a pass to fullback Deon Anderson, who was stopped for no gain.

The Cowboys could have attempted a 23-yard field goal or made a better decision.

Oakland isn't faring much better against the Cowboys defense.

The only score of the game came when David Buehler made a 42-yard field goal.
