The Cowboys were hoping to bring back cornerback Bryan McCann to the practice squad after they released him on Saturday.

They won't.

McCann, an SMU product, will sign a contract to play corner for the Baltimore Ravens today. He will be put on their 53-man roster.

The Philadelphia Eagles had reached out to McCann's agent, John Biggins, on Sunday morning, but the Ravens were able to make a deal first.

It appears the Cowboys will attempt to put cornerback Teddy Williams on the practice squad and try to find another young player as well.

As of now, the Cowboys have just three cornerbacks on their active roster.
