GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The Cowboys take their four-game losing streak, the longest under coach Wade Phillips, to Lambeau Field to play the Green Bay Packers. It's a beautiful night here with not a cloud in the sky. It's not that cool; temps should be in the 40s at kickoff.
Cowboys update (1-6): Jon Kitna makes his second consecutive start in place of an injured Tony Romo. Last week, Kitna completed 69.4 of his passes while throwing one touchdown and four interceptions. He has to play better this week in order to help break this losing streak. Tashard Choice said he was told by coach Wade Phillips to get ready to play. Choice hasn't carried the ball in the last four games, but he did have four catches in last week's loss to Jacksonville. If Choice gets some touches it's because of Felix Jones' health. Jones is battling a sprained ankle, which limited him some in practice this week.
Packers update (5-3): Green Bay has a chance to extend it's win streak, now at two games, to a season-high three. Green Bay is 6-1 lifetime against Dallas at Lambeau Field. The Packers have health issues and have placed nine players on injured reserve this season. But the Packers received good news when safety Atari Bigby was moved from the PUP list to the active roster on Saturday.
Scouts scheduled to attend: Minnesota and New York Giants.
