Tony Romo without a sling

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- On the sidelines of Sunday's Cowboys-Giants game, injured starting quarterback Tony Romo wasn't using a sling for his broken left collarbone.

Romo suffered the injury on a hit by Michael Boley on Oct. 25 vs. the New York Giants. Team officials said Romo, who doesn't need surgery, is out 6-to-8 weeks.

After the game, Romo said sometimes he doesn't need the sling but is taking every precaution necessary to get healed.
