ARLINGTON, Texas -- It's Thanksgiving Day and it's cold outside with some rain, but it's nice and cozy inside Cowboys Stadium. The Cowboys take on the Saints in an attempt to extend their four-game win streak on Thanksgiving Day.
Here's the deal:
Cowboys update (3-7):The Cowboys are trying to extend their two-game win streak, which would be their longest since the end of the 2009 season. There is one concern: leading rusher Felix Jones has a bruised right hip and missed two days of practice. Yet Jones did some light work Wednesday and is expected to play. He will have some heavy padding on the rib area. The Cowboys secondary will be tested today, especially safeties Alan Ball and Gerald Sensabaugh. How they play could dictate a lot in this game.
Cowboys inactives: Coming later.
Saints update (7-3):The Saints have rolled to three consecutive victories, all impressive. During the win streak the Saints have outscored the opponents, 88-32. But the Saints also have health issues. Reggie Bush (fibula) might return today; he was supposed to be back last week against Seattle, but coach Sean Payton kept him out. His return will change how the Cowboys defend the short passing game because he's such an explosive threat.
Saints inactives: Coming later.
Scouts scheduled to attend: New England and Indianapolis.
