Jon Kitna gets it done on short throws

Jon Kitna competed 18-of-26 passes for 167 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions Sunday against the Colts.

According to ESPN's Stats and Information, Kitna was 16-of-17 on passes thrown for 10 yards or shorter down field. He picked up nine first downs, and his lone touchdown pass was a 2-yarder to Jason Witten.

Kitna is also spreading the ball around to various players. Six different players caught at least one pass, and Kitna threw to seven individual players.

Miles Austin was targeted the most with eight throws, followed by Witten.

Martellus Bennett, Felix Jones and Dez Bryant were targeted three times each.
