Cowboys claim DE Clifton Geathers

IRVING, Texas -- The Cowboys are continuing to churn their roster, releasing defensive end Jeremy Clark and claiming defensive end Clifton Geathers on Wednesday off waivers from Seattle.

Clark signed with the Cowboys on Nov. 11 and made three tackles in three games. He was inactive last Sunday at Indianapolis.

Geathers -- 6-7, 300 -- was a sixth-round draft pick of Cleveland and was among the Browns’ final cuts. He played in home game for Miami before being dropped to the Dolphins practice squad. He was cut by Miami on Nov. 26. He had 41 tackles and 3.5 sacks as a senior at South Carolina.

Since Nov. 24, the Cowboys have made 11 roster moves involving players on the active roster or practice squad.
